One-man comedy-drama about two twins growing up with cerebral palsy: Bec (a wheelchair user) and Jack (who walks with a limp). Each twin had a very different experience navigating life.

Join Jack as he steps back in time, reliving squabbles with his old womb-mate Bec. All whilst battling against societal attitudes and his own emotional darkside: in the form of a well-known disabled Sith Lord. In this true tale of twins growing up, their unique bond is tested as they steer through the trials and tribulations of childhood and school – honking at bullies and overthrowing the low expectations foisted upon them. An inspiring* solo show with sketch and spoken word, that celebrates disability and diversity.

Daniel is reading his daughter ‘The Three Little Pigs’, but his life is anything but a fairytale. Little does he know, two “wolves” will soon be banging on his door to pay him an unexpected visit. Can Daniel repel these unwanted visitors and keep his daughter safe, or will his life come tumbling down?

The Wolves at the Door is a dark comedy that takes aim at corporate greed and questions the kindness of strangers.

Jack has performed at many events with I Am Loud Poets. In 2023, Hunter won the I Am Loud Highland Heat Slam. He went on to compete in the I Am Loud Grand Slam Final at the Edinburgh International Book Festival.

Jack placed third in the Scottish Grand Slam Final  at the Britannia Panopticon in Glasgow (2024). Jack has also performed his poetry at music festivals such as Fynefest and Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival.

Jack is also part of the performance group The Grim Collective. The group is a collaboration with musician and composer Nik Paget-Tomlinson. A fusion of spoken word and live music.

Jack’s poetical style is a surrealist and satirical blend that aims to provoke and amuse audiences in equal measure. See videos below to get a wee taste.

Return to Sender looks back on the life and career of Wullie ‘The Highland Postie’. 12 days before Christmas. Postal Workers are on strike. Wullie, now retired, meets the new postie Laura, who is now working the same round he once did all those years ago.

The play examines how the demise of the Royal Mail has eroded the very fabric of rural communities in the Scottish Highlands.

After the launch of Sputnik (in 1957) the first satellite into space, the starting pistol in the space race between the USA and the Soviet Union was fired. Little did stray dogs Belka and Strelka know their names would soon be written in the stars.

The pair’s successful mission of being the first animals to return from orbit alive paved the way for the first human space flight of cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin, in 1961. But this was not the end of the story…
